Quick update:
I was able to configure Kerberos Authentication for the site. There seems to be a new issue now with the SharePoint site after the Kerberos authentication as I cannot add a page to my site. I can edit the page which is created.
I have checked permissions for the users on this and they have full control on the SharePoint 2013 site.
Anyone here experienced this?
